Things I learned by noon today:
Assuming you have a snow day can bring a rude awakening when there really is school.
Even a powder sugared doughnut can not help Maria to eat faster.
Getting to the bus stop with 3 kids with packed backpacks, packed lunchboxes, snow pants, boots, gloves, hats, coats, library books, and folders by 8:00 a.m. is the most stressful part of the day.
The van does not make it through snow drifts like the SUV used to. (No Chris, I am still not going to drive the truck.)
Glitter on the floor is a truthful way to say that my floors sparkle.
My mom always is fun to talk to when I am feeling stressed.
The baby will take a nap when she is good and ready, not when I need her to sleep.
I wonder what else I will learn today.
