Day 1 - New Job

Today is the first day of my new job. I am now a military wife. Chris pulled out of the driveway at 6:18 a.m. leaving me to wonder how this new life is going to work. 14 months is a long shift with no breaks, but with the help of family and friends we will pull through. I am told that I need to be strong so that Chris can focus on his duties and not worry about us. I'm sure I'll have my ups and downs, but I'm up to the challenge. Just as Chris is proud to be serving his country, I am proud to be married to this courageous and noble man.

Today I am thankful that my mom is coming to help out. The big project de jour is to fix the screen that Chris' seabag knocked out of the door.
